Now as I may have mentioned before, Brighteyes is intact, he was used for breeding and has never been neutered… If he’s young enough I’ll get him neutered but if he’s an elderly rabbit then I’ll leave him as is… Anyways so I posted a topic before because he was making a noise that I thought was a soft grunt… But he doesn’t do it when he’s mad and when I listen close to it, it sounds more like a strange honking sound! He does it around me and around my female cat, Maggie (it seems to really weird her out ). It’s kind of like the sound a goose or duck makes only a lot softer… But what does it mean??? He’ll only do it when he’s circling me and the cat… It cracks me up but I’m not sure if it’s good or bad xD

It means he loves you and wants to make babies with you (and the cat).

This is true. Harley did that a lot before he got the snip snip. he still will circle when it comes to feeding and treats because he is just super excited.

Yep, it’s called honking because that’s what it sounds like.

I think the honking sound is adorable, just like everything else bunnies do.

Porky does it when he thinks he’s going to get a carrot.
