So the buns have fleas. And I called the vet for reccomendations for how much Revolution should be given to the buns. I trust my vet with the care of my buns and she has been great with them. But I am worried about the amount of Revolution that she said would be safe for them. She said to give them all a tube of Revolution. My vet had said that she has seen some issues with fleas becoming resistant to Revolution. So I think she is wanting to try to kill the fleas in one big hit. However, I am worrying about the buns’ saftey and using that much Revolution on them. Should I go with the 0.05cc per kg of body weight? Or my vets reccomendation?

If it is the Pink Puppy and Kitten a full ampule on a medium sized bun is fine. I had to dose my house guest as I think little Starsky got bird lice from a chicken before I got him out of the pound on Monday. My Piglet has a full ampule and then I break it down in qty as I work my way through the family. Pepper only gets 2-3 drops as she is the smallest.
I would not recommend using a full ampule of Advantage Rabbit and Ferret or Revolution combo 2.75 – 4 KG on rabbits though

Here’s an excellent chart I found that will help:

It’s the cat dose. The “mother-in-law” has cats so we get the adult dose from them. I have dosed Skipper before using 1.0 cc according to her weight. I’m just more worried about the little boys because I have not needed to dose them for fleas until now.

Thank you Sarita for the chart that is lovely. =]

And thanks again for confirming to not use the whole tube. That sort of just sent a massive red flag up in my head. My vet is a really sweet lady and she did a great job on Skipper’s spanueter but I don’t want to make my buns sick over a miss dosage of Revolution.
