I am going to build another rabbit condo for Marley and his new soon to be friend.  I need to buy some grids and more zip ties.  I am hoping I can be able to do it soon because right now I am having really bad back issues and no pain medications are helping.  I don’t want to over work myself because I don’t want permenant back damage.  I wish I had some one to help me build it but I don’t know how to give instruction well.  lol  I am also trying to figure out how big it’s going to be and what kind of funky design I can put it in.  lol It will likely just be a simple rectagular condo but that’s okay.

In Rascal and Valentines condo they have stick on linoleum in there but I want to use a different kind of material. What other stick on things are out there? I don’t know how to use carpet on there so I would need stick on something or other. Do they make stick on tile??

I have never heard of stick on carpet, but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist. What you can do is use a spray adhesive to glue your carpet down. The only thing about that is that you cannot easily change out carpet that has been glued down if it gets peed on or chewed up.

They have those carpet tiles that are stuck on and can be easily changed.

Can you just use an xpen temporarily until you figure out your back issue. I’d hate to see you aggravate anything further, and condo building is very labor intensive.

That was exactly my thought, Beka! It would be so much easier, you can get a very large space with one, it would be separate so if you need a second place for the new bunny it will work out well and be moveable if you need to, and doesn’t weigh much at all.
You can always attach cubes to the opening to expand on it, but basically, you’re done in a flash.

I have used an inexpensive low pile carpet I got at Target (Sarita’s are from Walmart) that’s 4’x5′ and an xpen fits on it with a foot to spare. I then set seagrass mattes (extra large from BB’s store) on top as recommended by my vet for my bunny’s feet. She also can nibble on them safely. I tied the with sissel at the corners, also a safe and edible string. The seagrass mattes make good floor covers, even if you use cubes.

Yeah, I think you are right. I don’t know why I was thinking I should build the condo now. lol I am hopefully going to the doctor this week. Called the auto insurance lady and she called me back yesterday..Was on the phone FOREVER omg. But she said I can just send her a receipt for the medical and they will take care of it up to $5000. I think I should be okay, then. I am hoping this will go away in a few days but it likely won’t since this has been going on for like over 2 weeks. I’m 22 it should have healed already. =(
