Hi Everyone! I need some help!

I recently aquired 2 more buns from a friend of mine that was heartbroken that she had to give her little guys away. Very luckily my two girls fell into like/love with the boys and the group has mostly bonded very well. My bossy female bunny was literbox trained and had been teaching my second female bun how to use the literbox when we got the boys. The boys never had a litterbox and the first three days were very gross. They pee’d and poop’d everywhere. For the most part we have learned to pee in (or around) the literbox but with four bunnies the poops are never ending and are not landing in the litterbox. When I put treats and hay in the liter box then stand on the outside and eat them while peeing on the carpet. I understand the excited bunny poops…but these are everyday, doing nothing special poops. The only time i have seen restraint is when the buns leave their room and come hang out in mine…then there are no poops and no pee’s.

I desparately need some help with this. My carpet and my vaccum cleaner can’t take much more….

First, I trust they are all spay and neutered…?

Second, can you give more info on what the set-up is like? Are they housed separately, in pairs, or have they all been introduced/bonded together?
