So i just thought of this question and thought I would ask it. So i am currently looking for a bond mate for Caleb (he is a neutered 9 month old holland lop). I am getting the second bunny from a rescue after I move into my apartment so we will have more space and can build a proper condo for Caleb and the new comer. I do plan on “speed dating” Caleb to find his soul bunny. (any advice for bonding in a new place that is new for Caleb as it will be new for the new bunny is GREATLY appreciated).

My real question is I do plan on getting a puppy (in 2014 so still lots of time for me to bond the 2 bunnies and for them to get settled) how is this going to effect my bunnies potential bond? Do you think it will effect them? I know this is a lot of hypothedicals because I haven’t even gotten the 2nd bunny yet but any ideas would be awesome and appreciated.

Having dogs hasn’t affected my bonded pair at all.

That’s good news I’m just sitting here looking at Caleb and I’m like “WAIT!!! what if the puppy changes the bunny’s bond” and I was thinking and I’m like “I really hope that I won’t have to do bonding again after I get the puppy” thanks for putting my mind at ease. I think ahead a lot and so for me thinking this far ahead is normal, if you can call it normal lol but yea i just wanted to make sure

No worries, I understand wanting to cover all your bases.

I’m adding a third bunny to my pair right now. Bonding is exhausting! It’s good that you’re planning on doing it before getting a puppy. My husband is teasing me because I took a break from bonding bunnies to come on this forum and write about bunnies. >.> Lol.
