My rabbit’s poop is a bit squishy. Not liquidy, but really soft. Is this diarrhea? It definitely isn’t cecotropes. It’s looser than that.

What is the cause of diarrhea in adult rabbits? Can not eating enough hay cause this? My rabbit has plenty of greens, pellets, water, and fruit as a snack, but he hates eating hay.

No, its not diarrhea. It’s cecal dybosis. Yes not eating enough hay can cause this and too much carbs or sugar (like fruit) and many times pellets cause this as well.

However it’s always a good idea to get the poo tested as well for any parasites.
