I have had my bunny for about a month and finally invested in a litter box yesterday. Am I too late to train him? He always goes back into his cage when he needs to go to the bathroom. But, I put the litter box in and he made a bed out of it! He even kicked the litter out of it to make it more comfortable. He is going to the bathroom everywhere but the litter box. I tried putting his dumping in the box but he kicked it all out. Does anyone have any advice!? I attached a picture of him lounging in the box below!

Your bunny might be a good candidate for litter box screen:

          On litter training:
Is there litter or bedding on the floor of his cage or only in the box? Litter or bedding anywhere but in the litter box is confusing for a litter box trainee. Most rabbits pick a spot they like to potty and that’s a good place to put the box. So where ever he pees the most is your spot. If he has accidents you’ll want to soak up some of the pee with a paper towel and place it in the box so the smell helps re-enforce litter habits. Placing some hay in the litter box also helps because many bunnies like to eat while they “go”.

I don’t have any advice for the digging other than the screen I mentioned above. Maybe spreading some hay over the litter so it’s more comfy?

          (I don’t see the picture)
