I adopted three rabbits, the white is a mini rex, the grey.. I think a netherland dwarf and the brown a lionhead.

They all are four months, and would anyone know how large they could grow still?

Their names are Lulu, (white) Lala (brown) and Pancake (Grey)

Size-wise, not a whole lot bigger. They will definitely fill out as they mature though.

So cute!!! I agree, their frame is probably about right, but they’ll put on a bit more weight. None of them should really exceed 4 pounds… 5 pounds tops.

Even at 3 months? sorry not 4 !

i want a large rabbit, so I am depending on Lulu (white)

I rescued them from a PET STORE in los angeles where they go through 10+ rabbits every few days, selling lionheads and holland lops for 10$ …. maybe for snake food

Welcome to BB! You’re rabbits are lovely.

Are they separate or living all together? You’re reaching that age where they can start making babies and/or getting aggressive with each other so make sure you separate them before it’s too late and you have 6-12 more rabbits scampering about

Very cute! As the others have said, considering their ages and breeds I doubt they will get much bigger – except for the giant breeds, most rabbits finish growing in size by 5-6 months though they may “fill out” and gain a bit of weight for a few months afterwards. Just like us humans…we stop growing as teenagers but continue to “fill out” for the rest of our lives, haha. They make an adorable trio, but are you planning to have them neutered/spayed?

I’m basing my estimation on breed standards for the breeds you described them as. Altho now that I’m looking at the white one closer around the tail and belly, she doesn’t look like a mini rex. She doesn’t have the right fur. Why do you think she’s a mini rex, did they tell you that? If the white one is a New Zealand (the likely breed), she could get up to about 8 pounds. The others (if they are what you say) should not exceed 4 pounds.

I think the white one is either a NZW or a Florida White – if it’s a NZW she will be large – I think my NZW was about 13 pounds at her largest. Florida Whites maybe 8 pounds, maybe less though – been awhile since I had a Florida White.

She was a big girl :~) I do think the females are larger though than the males. I don’t think the male I rescued, Gideon, was nearly as large full grown as Maxine was when he was full grown.

I cannot afford to have them fixed yet, it will be 120$ for rabbit. I could afford it when I initially bought them then issues came up with finances.

Yes, a Florida White I meant
They all are so close, and stay together always and love to come up to me but the brown one is laying down all day, eating not as much but chubby as I can run my finger down her spin and it is smooth which I read means they are healthy in terms of their weight but I am keeping a close eye on her.

The one that you think is a ND, isn’t showing the characteristic “dwarf” ears. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were all actually from the same “mixed breed” litter, they look so similar in body, head, and ear shape… and about the same size. If not the same litter, the parents may be related so they could be distant cousins. Any of those colors can be found in most breeds, and sometimes you’ll get a rainbow of colors in one litter.

You say that the pet store sells a lot of rabbits, so chances are they’re getting them from a bunny mill that is churning out bunnies at an incredibly high rate.

Regardless of breed and size, they are all super cute. I’m looking forward to seeing more pics of them!

Have you sexed them yourself? How sure are you of their sex?

The white one may be a boy… so I have a second cage until he is fixed as well as the rest

The grey one bonded with the other two, as the white and brown one are from the same liter and they all remain close as this and lick me all of the time trying to jump on my bed P i

I would have the vet sex them as soon as possible. At this age you don’t want them together even for a second in case of unwanted pregnancy and you surely don’t want that. If they are all the same sex though and getting along then you can keep them together and let them out to play together.

                                    They are cute.
