Sometimes Yohio’s droppings look like these on the picture. Is it sth to be worried about? No sticky butt or any other problems. Just this weird shape. Sometimes they are rounder. Is it just variations in fibre-content? I feed him lots of different leaves now. Like apple, hazel, dandelion, ground-elder etc.

Hm, It could just be his body adjusting to changes in diet. Probably try to stick to a set dietary routine for a while and see if it changes. I would make sure he is getting nice wet salads. Lots of hay and a small serve of pellets. Maybe pick a good leafy green.

Thanks! I’m not worried about him because he seems fine, but as an inexperienced bunny-owner I never quite know what might be an observandum. Glad to hear this is not a common symptom of sth bad =)

Both buns have been getting new fresh green stuff to eat these last few weeks, but I’ve compensated by cutting down on the pellets, not the hay. Spring has suddenly exploded here after an unusually long and cold winter. Bam, my other rabbit, doesn’t produce these weirdly shaped droppings, but then he is very picky and lots of stuff Yohio will eat gladly, Bam just frowns at. He’s doing well on this leafy diet though, he’s lost another 46 g, he needs to lose about 150 gs more. At this rate he’ll be looking great in his speedos when beach-season begins for real =)

              Lol. Bun in speedos :p

The pics look like what my bun Jersey does. She never has proper round poos like the others. Part of the reason i think is because she doesn’t eat much hay and just eats with her incisors.

Has Yohio been eating less hay? Maybe his gut got a little slowed after his recent neuter?
Also check he’s getting enough water.

Yohio is good with hay, but he has been moving around less after his neuter. The bathroom is smaller than the outdoors hutch/run and there’s just one level. Now it’s been a week though, so I guess it’s safe to let him outside again (Although I’ll miss having him inside with me).

I’ll take care to give him his leafy greens wet. He doesn’t seem to be drinking from his bowl, but he never seems to do that. It’s always full when I change it.
