Every time Stickers gets into trouble and I stop her doing whatever it was she was doing, she binkies away. Sometimes all it takes is looking at her and she knows she shouldn’t be doing it and binkies off. Sometimes I have to thump or get the spray bottle. But no matter what, she binkies off like she’s just the happiest most innocent bunny ever. No amount of distracting her with toys or chew items stops her chewing carpet, for example and if I move or look her way when she does it, she takes off.

Does anyone elses bun do this? She’s such a brat.

Lucy is the exact same way! Anytime she ever gets in trouble, she binkies away.

That sounds so funny! Misty does exactly the same thing. If I say “No!” she will throw her head back then do a binkie away. It must be that she’s proud of herself and loves the attention. This is usually when she’s trying to get under my bed by digging at the posterboard barrier I made around it.

Rupert does this too. I think binkies are a play version of what they would do in the real world, in real trouble. They would binky to evade a predator, so it makes sense that they would binky when they know they are in trouble with us!

Hehe well, at least it seems to be a common bun trait. Powder just stops when he knows he’s in trouble, looks at me and walks away or goes to lay down somewhere and be good.

Haha! Yes, Olivia will do this little side-step Binky complete with tail wiggles. Usually when she’s caught digging on the couch and I go “Ahhh!”
