Cid, who will be two next month, is experiencing some hair growth. He used to have just a mohawk but now it’s starting to grow out from his shoulders as well! Is this just from his body growing back the fur from the major shed he’s going through? (Or maybe he finally remembered he’s a Lionhead?
)Anyway, I was just curious.
Any input is really appreciated!

Lionheads are supposed to only have a ‘mane’ around their head, that’s the intent. But I don’t think I’ve ever seen one that looks proper! They are an unrecognized breed that people are working to develop. They really are more like patchy angora’s
I know Kahlua was much less fluffy when she was younger and now could pass for a very small angora. During sheds her coat pattern (i.e. where it’s long and where its short) does change so thats pretty normal.
