*Daisy likes to play with ALOT of toys, so here are some of the one i homemake!

*Paper rolls with the ends closed and hay stuffed into them

*Hay Ball. ( ours hangs up on top of the cage so she has to stand up to get it, and it has a bell for her to play with!)

*A old Brown BIG paper bag. She hops onto it and pushes it around.

*Milk jug boxes. ( at our store, they have boxes I get that 4 gallon milk jugs fit into and i put them in Daisys cage so she can hop on and into.)

Aww they sound like great ideas! Lots of other members have homemade bunny toys! I’m trying to make a homemade toy with bottle tops, toilet paper role cut up and some wooden shapes all strung together with natural rope. It’s not really working at the moment 😉

The home made toys seem to be some of their favorites.

I also like the plain newsprint paper you get when you pack stuff – it has no writing on it, but it’s great for shredding. Don’t forget to give her the Yellow Pages. They are made with soy-based ink and are a lot of fun to tear up and shred.

So far the plain toilet paper roll, unstuffed has been voted favourite by three rabbits. A Tim Horton’s coffee cup comes in a close second. (I expect other coffee cups would probably rate too.) A hay filled bag and pinecone got looks in but lag way behind the others.

Sounds like Daisy has lots of different stuff to keep her busy. In my experience, bunnies and cats seem to often prefer homemade toys to the expensive ones.
