  I’ve heard that wooden spoons are good toys for bunnies, before i give one to my Lola i just wanted to know if it was safe for them to chew on? i’m very protective of my princess and i don’t want to give her something that can harm her.

  If it’s meant for use with human food, it’s probably ok, not treated with anything toxic. But if it’s a decorative spoon it could be varnished or made from some type of wood that isn’t rabbit-safe.

  I can’t seem to find anywhere that says specifically that beechwood is safe for rabbits, however, it is not a poisonous wood, and as bam mentioned, if it is meant to be used for human wood, it probably doesn’t have any varnish or coating that would be detrimental to your bunny. I am fortunate enough to have a willow tree in my yard, so my bunnies usually get bundles of willow as their chew toys I think they are bored of them now though, they just like to chew them into tiny pieces and scatter them, haha
