Babbity loves apple sticks.  She doesn’t seem to love apples so much though.  As I don’t have ready access to apple trees (or anything but oak or sugar maple), I have to buy these sticks.  We used to have a number of crabapple trees in our yard but recently had them removed so we could actually grow some grass.  My neighbors have a pear tree though that they never harvest and I’m sure I could take some sticks from.  Does anyone know anything about crabapple or pear for rabbits?  I don’t see them listed on any “safe for rabbit” lists.

Here’s some info on chewing (and which branches are safe).

It does say Pear branches should be dried for a month or more (I guess they’re toxic when fresh).

Edited because I forgot to add the darn link! >.<
