Hi everyone, haven’t been on here in a while. I was so excited about starting the boys on fresh veggies. they are 5 1/2 mos. old now! tried 3 types of lettuce and cilantro. they refuse to touch any of it. I’m going to keep on offering it though?? what’s your bunnies favorites?? I  wanted to offer bland veggies first, wanted to stay away from sugary ones!

Powders favorite is broccoli, or carrots. He also loves parsley.

Stickers favorite is KALE. She loooooooooves her kale. Her second favorite is broccoli.

They both like cilantro and lettuce, but they area always the last things to be eaten.

Mine seem to really like herbs like cilantro, parsley, and basil. Keep at it!

              This isn’t unusual. LOL
Mine are extremely picky. They must have spring mix baby lettuces. Must. Silly rabbits.

My youngest is a year old now but she’s still not really into veggies. She’s coming around so I persist. Lol

Try parsley and even something bitter (Rocket or endive). Some of mine like bitter as much as they like sweet.
What about giving it when you retire to bed for the night? That’s probably the longest time they go without any other food offerings (besides hay) so they might sample more then.

Sally wouldn’t touch her veggies for the longest time! What I finally ended up doing was I made her a salad and sprinkled her beloved pellets into the salad hoping that she would bite down on a veggie while digging for pellets…it worked! Now she LOVES her veggies!

I generally have to try things at least 3 or 4 times before Buckley will even sniff/lick it. He’s an extremely fussy eater and find it hard to find things he likes. He goes mad for baby corn and if there’s a leafy green veg with a red tinge to the leaves he’s right in there, but otherwise he can ignore it, I don’t know what it is but the red bits he loves! Quite often I’ll put his veggies out for him and he won’t eat much but when i put him away for the night, I’ll put his veggies in his cage with him and I quite often find him eating them for breakfast, so they do (mostly) go eventually, he just doesn’t jump in there straight away (unless it’s the baby corn!). Just keep trying and be persistent. x

Mine really love carrot tops and dandelion.
