Hello, as some of y’all know, I posted a topic of If my bunny was fat or not. Well I use one of the links that someone gave me, and she got a 4 out of 1-5. 1 being skinny, 5 being fat. And I was wondering if i had to consult a vet for my bunny, or put her on a special food, to have her one a diet. My plans was cutting her food down by a few table spoons, and giving her more vegies. Please help me and give me your tips. Have any of you guy ran into problems while having you bunny on an diet?

Always always always consult a vet about whether your rabbit is overweight or not. An online app won’t accurately tell you.

Totally agree with Monkeybun – consult a vet first and foremost. It’s not just weight, it’s overall body condition and vet’s are professionally trained to determine this and to help you with a diet program if they feel she needs to lose weight.

I agree with MB and Sarita.

I wouldn’t adjust your bunnies diet because of a website tells you she’s fat. Consulting a rabbit savvy vet will probably be your best bet at determining whether or not she’s overweight.
