After being spayed Ashe has been chewing walls, carpet, cardboard, doors, pretty much anything she can get a hold of. I have been saying no and putting my hand over her head, but it just stops her for a few seconds. I also put something in front of her that she is allowed to chew and that usually sidetracks her a bit longer.

On the positive side, yesterday she began tooth purring while I was petting her for the first time and she now loves to jump all over me and sniff my face. She is A LOT more loving and is a much pleasant rabbit in general. I just wish I could figure out a way to deter her from chewing on my house ><

Any suggestions on how to keep her from chewing the walls and pulling out carpet would be appreciated.

How long ago was Ashe spayed?

For a lot of rabbits, it takes a while for their hormones to settle down so you may see some strange behavior before everything evens out. It took my bun Stormy about three weeks after being neutered to stop spraying and leaving territorial poops.
