Sadly Oreo died a week ago, we did all we could, but he went downhill very quickly. Vienna, my 6 year old female, who was being bonded to him is now on her own again. Should I try to bond her with another bunny after a couple of months? She has been bonded before, but Clent also died before Christmas. She is getting a bit of an old lady now, is she set in her ways? She was always very stressed and off her food while being bonded, so should I try again? She was never very social with Oreo. She is normally a gentle, happy bun though.

My condolences on the loss of Oreo. (((Hugs to Vienna))))

How is she doing? Does she seem depressed at all?

I think if you are up to the task of bonding then you should try some bunny dates. She might find a bunny that she really gets on with. If she seems very stressed and aggressive with all the buns, then she may just be happier on her own. That’s for you to ultimately decide. If she gets lots of attention and time with her humans, she will most likely be happy as a single bun. A 6 year old bun is definitely not too old to bond.

She’s doing well, she never really knew Oreo, we only had him a week. She just seemed confused that the bunny that was living next to her was gone.
