My bunny came down with head tilt and is being treated.  He is improving but he wont go to the extra layers in his house and I think he is feeling cooped up since he is restricting him self to the lower level.  Has anyone had a bunny that went through this and did they eventually get back to the other levels to their house? I am going to build him some stairs this weekend to help him out.  Does anyone also know what I can do to get his head as close to normal as I can? Also on ways I can help him with his balance?

        Thanks

If the head tilt is permanent, I would take out the levels. They don’t have the same balance, and jumping up levels is a No-Go for them. Keepign things on one level will be better for him if that is the case.

I agree with Monkeybun. If it’s not permanent I would take the levels out anyways as I would fear for him rolling (if its a bad tilt) and falling off the edges of one of the levels. Once the head tilt is gone you can put them back in.
