I decided to get memory foam mat for the top level of my rabbits hutch. I found one that asorbs wetness and can be washed. Is it safe?http://www.amazon.com/Envision-Home…d_sbs_hg_2

I know that I’ll have to take it out if he begins to chew on it.

I use memory foam bath mats with my Bunny. As long as it’s secure in her habitat (I used Velcro) and she can’t get under it or lift the corners it’s been fine. The first time I used one it wasn’t completely secure and she found that the underside was rubbery and dug and chewed at it. However, I replaced that one and have the old one on the floor of my room and she hasn’t cared to dig or chew it since and and that was months ago. She loves resting on it.

As with anything new, keep a close eye at first to make sure it’s not getting chewed.

Hi there I was just thinking about you and your bunny. Did you parents ever let you bring it in the house?
