Forum BEHAVIOR Need Re potty training HELP !

        We have a beautiful french lop for 5 months now. An he is getting bigger so we bought him a bigger cage. Now he use to go in his cage when he needed to use the potty but he wont pee or poop in the cage ! He comes out an poops an pees now. I’ve tryed putting his poop in his cage but its not really working.  I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO ! Is this normal ? Will he stop ?

          IS he neutered? If not, getting that done will likely help

              Yes i can. I have to switch computers. an he isnt neutered yet.. Also he is about 6 months old an we have 3 male chinchillas an one female would it be ok if they play together ?

                I think pictures will definitely help us give you advice I’m having a hard time picturing his set up. 

                Bunnies carry some bacteria that’s dangerous/lethal to chinchillas. They also speak a different language and don’t really know how to communicate with each other. I think separate playtime would be best.   MORE INFO HERE

                  Since he isn’t neutered, it’s likely that he won’t be able to be “re-trained” until after he’s fixed. His hormones are in the way right now and he wants to mark everything as his. What is your time-frame for neutering? Do you have the appointment set up?
