My 7 month old Flemish Giant, Angel, is only about 6-8lbs. I’ve been told by other rabbit owners and Flemish owners that she is rather small. She was the runt of her litter-so would that explain her size?

I wouldn’t say she’s TOO small as in she isn’t perfect. But she is small for a Flemish but I’m sure she’s perfect either way! One day I am going to get me a Flemish. I’ve always loved the breed but I don’t have the proper space for one yet

Would love to see some pictures!

I understand they take a full year to reach their mature weight.

Thanks for the info guys-I’m a first time Flemish owner and I love her so much! I figured that she might always be small because she was the runt

She may always be on the smaller size. There’s a wide range of sizes with flemmies, anywhere from 10 to 20+ pounds. As long as her diet is good, I wouldn’t worry too much.
