I’m so confused with her breed. She doesn’t have much mane as before (almost none).

I don’t know if she’s a pure breed or a mix. But I just wanted to say she is absolutely beautiful either way

            Ditto. She’s gorgeous!

Lionheads can vary a lot. They can be full lionhead but be unmaned (sp?). I read here that they shed at about 1 year old and sometime lose the mane or bulk of it.

All that aside, she does look like a mix. Maybe lionhead/Dutch?

Unless you have a pedigree, there is really no way to tell for sure if your bunny is a pure breed or not. Most pet bunnies are mixes. Your bun is absolutely gorgeous!

Lion heads aren’t a recognized breed, so no, not pure they tend to be a mix of angora and lop, depending on the breeder, but the mane isn’t genetically consistant so they are having a hard time pinning down determined breed characteristics.
My lionhead goes back and forth with her main, but she’s always a little fuzzy every other shed she gets really mane-y

She could be a single maned lionhead!! my boys are double maned and have super long hair all over. Both their parents were double maned also!! She’s absolutely beautiful!! congrats!!

I have to second Sam and Ladys Human – Lionheads are like a mutation between Angoras and Dwarf Rabbits. They vary greatly depending on breeder and genes. Lionheads can be single maned also (which is what your little one looks like) and when single-maned can go through molts where they lose almost all of their mane. But are still Lionheads. In the first picture though, she has all of the characteristics of a purebred. The fur around her bum and her single mane (mane is determined by the genes she acquired from both parents). And she looks relatively small. Lionheads are only supposed to get to about 3.5 lbs I do believe. And they love to lick!!! Hahahhaha. I read that somewhere and when we got our Lionhead, it turned out to be quite true. My boy is ALWAYS licking EVERYTHING!

There is lots of different websites to look at online to vary he/she down to.

My boy is a lionhead and his fur is a lot like your girl’s! He had a bigger mane when he was little, then it kinda went away a little, but its coming back little by little. I think he is a single mane, but I haven’t really done much reasurch on it.
