My bunny Meap used to run circles around my feet all the time and binky around the house. He used to play chase with me, where I’d run and he’d run after me. He’s stopped doing all of these things and I can’t figure out why. He was gifted to me last summer and was already just about the size he is now so I’m not sure exactly how old he is or if that might have something to do with it. I think he’s a Holland Lop but that’s just a guess from comparing him with pictures. He’s not fixed yet as I just haven’t had the money. We don’t have any other bunnies or pets so I worry that he might be lonely, but we have four kids so he gets fairly constant attention. In all other regards he seems perfectly fine. He’s eating, drinking, and pooping well. Any ideas or suggestions?

The older buns get they do tend to mellow out. Lops are, also, more on the mellow side. How is his exercise environment? If there is too much stuff in a room he might not feel inclined to zoom about. He may just want an open space to run and play.

I agree with Skippers Mama. It’s likely to do with age and may be he’s just gotten used to his hormones now.
You may see it return from time to time. My 6yr old desexed lop still goes through hormonal phases.

Also ditto about seeing how he goes in new space. Put a rug down for traction and see whether he puts on a Binky show.
