Hey everyone. I just purchased parsnip, and it’s only the “root.” I had never actually heard of parsnip until now, so I didn’t realize that it had leaves too.

Is this part safe for bunnies?

i’m not sure but I hope someone knows! I just learned how to cook these and that would be great if they are a veggie we can share root for me, and greens for them….hmmm I’m not sure though!

That can be fed but in a very limited amount like you would do for carrots, no more than a tablespoon a day according to HRS.

Great, thanks! I knew it would be limited, I just wasn’t sure if it was even safe at all.

Whenever it just lists a veggie, but doesn’t specify the goods and bads (like apple, it says ‘everything but seeds’), I tend to assume it’s going to be fine. But, better safe than sorry, so I like to check here.
