When I purchased my bunny the lady said he was a male. I never took the chance out to check the gender because I took her word for it. My bunny is 3 months old and i noticed these bumps on his belly near his side today. They are somewhat sticking out. What can they be?

Yep, thats a nipple. Male bunnies just like male humans have nipples. They may not serve any obvious purpose but they are still normal.
At three months you should be able to do any easy check for gender. Look through the fur either side of his genitals, at 12 weeks you should see the boy bits starting to form. They will look like a thumb sized patch of pink skin either side about a centremetre out from the gentials and slightly above.

Definitely nipples…I’m not sure but I thought male rabbits didn’t have nipples (unlike most male mammals…) but I’m not sure if we’ve ever got a definitive answer on that.

I cn’t remember what happened with the nipple question either… I think it came down to breed age and size in the end.. Some boys did and some didn’t.
