I wonder if anyone has any insight to this. I have 5 rabbits (2 bonded pairs and a single). Every single rabbit has done this at one time or another. They seem to be acting fine, then I serve their dinner or offer a treat and they refuse to eat. Most times they are not hunched up or seem to be in pain, however they do seem to be uncomfy or just “off”. And of course this usually happens on a Friday or Sat night! Each time it has happened I give them Metacam and a full cc of Mylicon. All of them have bounced by the next day. Does this happen to anyone elses rabbit? What the heck is going on?

Whats your routine? What does Friday and Saturday mean? A late study night on thursday? Garbage collection with noisy trucks? Guests coming over? You out late at the movies? Is Friday when you run out of a particular veggie because Saturday is grocery day?
I’d check out your routine first, then see about changing it to see what happens….

That is the odd thing, nothing, at least notably to me, was different. The last time it happened to Lilbit it was actually during the week. We are a boring family (lol). I am a stay at home mom and we hardly ever go out. I just don’t get why out of the blue one of the buns will do this. Gas? Maybe one to many craisins? Change of weather? It boggles my mind.

Could you try a diary? it might help shed light on the subject. And try sleuthing-could a neighbor be making some sort of noise, or is a particular dog walked by a window they can see? It’s very strange that they would have a gut issue on a schedule…
