Today was my first day back at uni for the year, I got home to find Chester hunched up in the corner (gas?). He’s had is problem before and he was all well again within hours.

He was fine last night, lots of poops, normal food and water intake. Now he won’t eat or drink anything. The vets and shops are closed (it’s nearly 1am here). I don’t have critical care, gas drops, nor baby food, or canned pumpkin. I’ve given him water by syringe, and half an hour ago I gave him a pellet mash via syringe which he didn’t mind (I made it very watery). I’ve massaged his tummy, offered his favorite treats, gotten him to move around the house every so often. Still no poops. He has urinated once. No eating or drinking on his own.

He keeps pushing his stomach down. He is going through a heavy moot but I brush and pluck him daily as well as vacuum the house and his room on a daily basis to pick up bunny fur.

I don’t know what else to do until the vet opens. Please any suggestions? I want my chessy bun to be okay. I love him so much. I can’t help but to cry

Please, what do I do. I’m a very stressed out bunny mum at the moment

Sorry for the spelling mistakes, it’s hard to type when you’re so stressed

He’s better now thank goodness. By 6am there were poops  so I finally went to bed. It was a long and stressful night  I woke up at 1pm, Chester hoped up on the lounge and licked my arm (I suppose as a thank you for not leaving his side all night). Glad my bun is back to his normal, spunky self.

Kokaneeandkahlua: that’s a relief to hear  He’s my first bun (had him for just over a year), so I’m still learning. This forum really has taught me a lot. And it’s a great place to get some reassurance from other bun owners who have more than likely been through what you’re going through.

Three cheers for the binky bun forum and it’s wonder members

Ps sorry for my stressed out post last night. I was absolutely terrified and in tears.I don’t want to lose my bun, especially after having Gizmo (my old dog) pass away just before Christmas  I miss him terribly.

So glad to hear Chester is better. He’s too adorable to not be feeling well for long.

Yup, we are all wonder members. Superheroes helping bunnie parents in need!
