My rabbit loves to chew and dig, as usual. I have given her diggy boxes, toilet paper rolls, boxes, wood toys, etc. She never plays with store bought toys   I have switched out toys when needed so she wouldn’t get bored with them. I have looked on the toy archives on here, and researched and researched but she’s getting bored with them all and finding other “toys”     Is there any experiment toys that you have made that aren’t as usual. Thanks in advance!!!!!!

How long is your switch out period? Try extending that period. With my bun that actually “plays” (the other one has no interest for any toys) I have to have a period of at least about a month in between. Also, if the item was already chewed, it’s not as interesting. All the toys are basically just variations of each other. Cut, weave, combine. Put treats or food in the toy once in a while so it’ll get more attention.

Cut into paper roll and stick sticks into it and angle so they are not all the same directions. Stuff it with hay before and then stick in the sticks. Can also do with boxes.
Get a giant box with windows and a open top. Add a platform/slide that goes from the floor to the top. Try another version with a closed top.
Cut paper strips and weave through paper roll or box. Can do the same with hay.
