I usually buy my hay from the pet shop onsite at the rescue centre where I work, and the buns absolutely love it. I went to get some today and they had none in stock, and they don’t know when they’re getting some more. So I had to rush to another pet store and all they had was generic pet store brand Timothy hay, so I had to get that instead. The problem is that my buns took one sniff and turned their noses up!
I’m not sure that my centre will be stocking that hay anymore as I’ve never seen anyone buy it except myself and one other staff member. So I’m totally screwed if my buns refuse to eat anything else!
Anyone got any ideas how I can get my rabbits to eat the temporary hay? I don’t know how long itll take before I can find the same brand as I’ve never seen it anywhere else!

Maybe look about for a stock feeders that has other alternatives? Mine didn’t like meadow hay when I first bought it, then they tatsed it and have loved i ever since. It took a couple of tries though before they were interested.
