Hi, I just recently adopted a bunny. He’s a rescue rabbit and his name is Myles. He is an Angora cross, though I have no idea what he may be crossed with. He is around 2 years old we think, but we’re not really completely sure. I’ve had him for just over a week now and so far its been great! He seems to be a bit of a shy boy, but who knows if that will change as he gets to be more comfortable in his new environment. I have a nice big cage for him, but he is allowed out into the room that his cage is kept in. I’m also not entirely sure if he has actually been neutered or not, but I plan on getting him to the vet asap to check on this and to make sure everything is alright.

I have also always had a fondess for bunnies. I was really wanting a new pet quite a few months ago, so I decided to do some research on rabbits. They were much more complex than I would have imagined without looking into it, but I loved them even more after reading. I’m very happy with my decision to become a bunny mom and I can’t wait to see where else this new adventure with Myles will take me!

Congrats on the new bunny! Bunnies are indeed more complex (and full of personality) than most people realize. And it doesn’t take them long to totally steal your heart.

Would love to see some pics of Myles.

Welcome to BB! I feel like you’re one of many of us who never thought bunnies would be as amazing as they are.

Would also love to see new pictures of your little guy!
