        HI there,

        Introducing Ollie.

He’s a 1yr old neutured male, giant lionhead. He’s 7 pounds and svelte! I swear he looks like he’s still growing. (Do larger rabbits usually stop growing around a year I bought him because I knew he was going to be big

He lives in an ex pen with a rubber floor. He has fantastic litter habits and is a treat monster. He run inside his pen and stands up tall waiting for me to reach over with treats He tried to climb!? his pen when I started cutting back on his pellets. ( he was prettttty pissed at me) He can just about clear his pen, which is made for a great dane, lol.

My poor dude has chronic respiratory infections, and is now on a 5 day on and 2 day off echinacea treatment. SO far, looks like it’s working, but the bonus is he drinks more water!!!

        Introducing Abby

I got abby at 5 months from a breeder. She grew too “big” to be shown, but she was a perfect pet. ( I requested an older bunny who needed a home

She’s a lilac, now turned a bit blue coloured mini rex. She was very territorial when I first got her, but working slowly with her, and lots of nose rubs when she was about to bite, have turned her into a pet monster! She’s very affectionate, but hates to be picked up (they both do!)

She lives in a dog crate and is out most of the time. She’s a good girl, Ollie on the other hand find cords to chew on and climbs book cases and anything else he sees. ( He really enjoys hanging out in his pen, and even when the door is open he’ll choose to binky around in his cage and flop down, ha)

Abby just had a bought of unexplained Gi Stasis from an obstruction. She never stopped eating but was in a lot of pain and poops only stopped after she spent the day/night at the vet ( good timing?) She was grumpy when she got home and bit me a few times giving her, her meds. Took almost 3 weeks to become normal, my poor girl.

Everyone is healthy right now, and they keep me on my toes!

I also have a sun conure and two lutino red rump parkeets. I am very much an animal person, and all my animals get the best of everything! (including my time! and alllll my money. No Vacations for me! Who could take care of them better then me?!)

        Love them all

Welcome to BB! I love to meet fellow Canadian bunny fans! I’m in New Brunswick and have two little fur monsters.

Ollie is gorgeous. Very striking boy! And Abby….squee, a REX!!! I LOVE REXES! Need more pics.

                    Are your buns bonded?

I love rexes too, they are just something special. That fur, that elegant longer face, long limbs.  Spunky-ness! They seem to be really active. My Lionhead seems to binky once and lay down, lol. On the other hand, he doesn’t scare as easy, and i can actually tickle him and he enjoys it! He binkies and comes back for more!

How much do you guys spend on veggies a week? Seems like I’m at the grocery store every 3 days loading up on veggies! Abby’s  gut seems to be slowing down again, and I’m piling her up with veggies to keep her moving.  I swear I’m spending 15-20 a week.

They eat better then me, seriously

                      I”m uploading pictures soon!

Ollie  and Abby aren’t bonded. He’s neuteured and she’s not spayed. With them both being sick, and Ollie almost all the time, It’s really killed my wallet. Soon, if they both can just be okay for a few months!

They’ve finally made friend,s and Abby just loves Ollie but he’s pretty dominant. I thought all was well,FINALLY, but her hormone got in the way! She humped his head, the right way, his side, scared the crap out of him, lol! He had noooo Idea what was going on, hahah.

SO for now, they love each other through the bars, and have separate running around time.

                        OKay pictures!

I’ve noticed I have less of abby, mostly because she never stops running and her fur doesn’t show up well in pictures!( the shine)

The picture with the blue carefresh is when I first brought Ollie home. He eventually ate the cardboard boarder, but it worked until he was litter trained, less than 2 weeks! ( at 4 months old)
