3-5 days usually for a boy.. Just make sure you check the surgery site daily to ensure there is no infection or other problems.
Is he eating and drinking yet ?

Mine got neutered today too! How is yours recovering? Mine hasn’t eaten or drinking yet he just keeps hopping around and laying down trying to get comfortable. I hope he starts eating soon!

Yup, 3-5 days is about right for a boy bunny. It’s good to get a look at the incision every day or so to make sure that there aren’t any nasty complications developing – the easiest way to do this is to hold up a treat and take a peek when he stands up to eat it.

Hi. My bunny got neutered on Tuesday but the vet didn’t say anything about not letting him jump. They just said to keep him alone for the first night. Is it bad that he was jumping around yesterday?

Also, you guys keep mentioning look at the site and making sure it looks okay. What does it supposed to look like?

I would not recommend keeping him in a carrier over night. It won’t be familiar to him and may cause him additional stress. His cage is fine. Make sure he can’t jump up onto anything.

Moving about is not bad for them, they do good with some exercise to get the stomach working. But no jumping up on different levels.
