Hey guys, long time! My husband went to a new feed store for bedding and saw a 15 lb bag of pellets that was cheaper than what I paid for Oxbow. He didn’t get it and wanted to see if it was about the same or better, nutrition wise. I don’t know much about what all rabbits need for protein and everything, so I thought I’d ask here. It’s called Buckeye rabbit pellets. I looked it up online and found the nutrition guide. We usually get Oxbow Adult Rabbit.
Buckeye’s:
FEATURES:
• Designed for rabbits being raised for pets, show, or meat production
• Excess vitamins added to compensate for loss during pelleting
• Proper ratio of carbohydrates and fiber to minimize the risk of enteritis
• Contains Yucca Schidigera Extract to help control ammonia odor
