Both my buns will occasionally try to bite my or my husband’s feet. I thought it was for attention at first, but they’ll do it even when I sit on the floor and pet them. It’s not usually very hard, but has hurt a little at times. They’ve never broken our skin or come close to doing that, though. I can’t figure out why they both do this. I suspect Jafar learned it from watching Zero, but I’m not positive. Do any other bunnies do this? Both mine have been fixed for over a year, so they’re not feeling amorous.

Olivia is a foot nipper. I think she just gets mad that my feet are in her way. The best thing to do when a bunny bites is do a high pitched squeal. This will let them know that they are hurting you. You can also try redirecting their attention with a toy when you think they are about to nip.

One of mine went through a phase of doing this and all the sudden stopped. I was just told that feet are in their line of sight (I thought maybe because I had stinky feet or something).
