        I have a 5
Month old female rabbit that I am 100% sure is a female, and lately she’s been making soft grunting sounds while circling me! Me and her have a very good bond and she loves me and has never shown any sign of aggression! What’s going on?!?

          Welcome Skye&BunBun.

It’s a hormonal behaviour. At 5 months old her hormones would have arrived so she might act differently toward you.

I notice in your avatar picture you have 2 rabbits? If so, is the other a male?

Female rabbits can have litters as early as 3 months old so it’s important she is not in contact with any intact male rabbits.

Do you plan to have her desexed? It is advised because they are at high risk of developing uterine cancer by age 3 if left intact. Desexing also helps reduce hormonal behaviours like false pregnancies.
