The boys are starting to chew and eat pieces off their litter boxes!! yuck!! it’s like if you are licking your toilet!! hahahaha!! sorry!! anyway, they have plenty of chew sticks, cardboard, newspaper, toys, dig boxes, alfalfa, pellets,  how can I stop this??  I don’t think it’s too healthy to be eating plastic!!!  I also hung chew toys and straw balls above the litter boxes to help curb this behavior, they also have hay in the boxes too, advice please!!!

Sally was doing this just the other day and I got so worried because she was actually swallowing it and she wouldn’t stop so I had to dab some hot sauce on the part she was nibbling on :/ I felt bad but I didn’t want her tummy to get upset or blocked. She hasn’t touched it since. And she still uses the box religiously so it didn’t deter her in that aspect. I would use bitter spray, but she actually enjoys that taste! YUCK!
