Derby and I are new to the forum. He is a year old, male, french lop rabbit, neutered with plenty of personality and attitiude. Derby loves his yard, in the summer once he is outside it can be difficult to coax him back inside. We have had to put trap doors in the floor of the deck to help wabbit wangle him out from underneath where there is a big space with carpeting. Derby loves toys and food, but hates to be picked up. I have been a rabbit slave since my kids were little, now they have kids and rabbits on their own. Derby is a big boy of almost 11 pounds. He loves dandelions and clover in the summer and happily consumes endive lettuce, parsley and other treats in the winter. He has full run of the house, sleeps in our bedroom usually on the floor but lately has decided that he wants to hang out on the headboard of our bed. He spends lots of time running and binking around the bedroom and hallway, part of his race course included running over Dad’s head at nights.
