Valentines HATES having her nails clipped.  They’ve grown pretty long in the past month and I am trying to figure a way to clip her back nails without hurting her or making her uncomfortable?  I am seriously thinking of taking her with me when I go to the bunny bunch tomorrow to have her nails clipped.  Rascal is easy as pie!  I can clip Valentine’s front nails if I bunny burrito her.  I don’t know any way else.  Any tips on clipping stubborn bunny nails?

If you have a friend or family member that can come over, ask someone to help you. It’s very easy if someone holds the bun and you get to clip. If not, you could try the counter top method (some buns become docile when placed up high, just be careful she doesn’t escape and jump off). Or, you could just have a vet do it, they don’t charge much.

Is it possible to slip her back toes out of a burrito? For me, the easiest way is just to have someone else help out and hold the bunny while I clip.

I will definitely try and have someone help me if not I’ll just have to take her some where to get her clipped. Thanks!
