My Valentine has been acting strange lately.  It’s only when she eats pellets though.  She will be eating pellets and then out of nowhere be making noises with her nose like she has a URI.  She sometimes sneezes really hard too.  I am going to take her to the vet soon to get her checked out but I am just curious, why is this only when she eats pellets?  Last night she felt really bad, I could tell.  She kept cuddling up to Rascal and Rascal was loving on her and grooming her.  Rascal knew she wasn’t feeling well.  I just feel bad that she doesn’t feel well.  I know the only option is to take her into the vet.  It just boggles my mind that this is only happening when she eats pellets.

Could it be a URI or maybe she’s allergic to the pellets?  I don’t think it’s that because she’s been eating the pellets with no problem ever since I got her last year in June.  This just started happening.  So confusing.

It could also be dental problems. I hope Ms. Valentine is okay – make sure the vet does a thorough dental exam as well – in my experience it’s difficult to see those back molars with an otoscope and many times my vet has had to put my rabbits under anesthesia to do a very thorough dental exam.
