Bunny has always been very loving, but I’ve always had to be the one to initiate cuddles.

Now he’s suddenly started to follow me about, and is up on the sofa with me demanding attention and strokes.
I don’t mind of course, but I’m a worrier, and concerned that his sudden behaviour change may be caused by something.

He’s 6 months old and has been neutered.

Is this something I should be concerned about?

He’s probably just now more comfortable with you. I would be careful about allowing him on the sofa though – many times rabbits like peeing on the sofa because it smells like their “humans”.

He’s completely toilet trained and only ever does his business in his litter tray or in the corner of his cage, If he starts getting more comfortable with me, do you think he’ll start peeing in other places such as the sofa?

Peeing on the sofa (if he starts that and I’m not saying he will, but we get many posts about litter trained rabbits peeing on beds and sofas) is possible so it’s something to watch out for – it has nothing to do with being litter trained but rather to do with “marking”. So it’s just a word of caution.

Oh right I didn’t know that. Thanks for the heads up!

Other than that, it sounds like he is comfortably mellow post-neuter and is just a happy bunny who enjoys your company. You are lucky.
