Hello everyone! I am new here and I wanted to introduce myself and my two little fluff balls. 🙂 It’s a little girl and a little boy even though the boy is much bigger than the little cutie girl. 😉 Their behaviours are totally different and I am trying to get them to use their litterbox, but they choose to use it as their new sleeping spot and they cuddle up in there at night LOL! They rather use the hay to go for poops and wees and they also cover the little food box with hay so I don’t notice they still have food. Clever little cookies. 🙂 The girl is Lilly and the boy Bertie. I’ll try to attach a picture..

So adorable! Congrats on your buns! Just a tip, If you want them using a litter box, the cage just needs a little rearranging. Bunnies always choose where they want to go. Put the littler box where the hay used to be. That should teach them to use it. Eventually they will go where the box is. When we bring my bunny and he needs to go, he will chase us around and nudge us!

Hey there! And welcome to BB!

I actually think you should just try throwing some hay in the bottom of your litter box. Many of us here at BB do this since Bunnies LOVE to eat and do their business at the same time. I would try that and if they still prefer to go in the other spot, then like thumper said — just move it to that spot with some hay in the box! Bunnies are very good about “choosing” where they would like to go — whether it’s suitable for us or not!

Also, I’m curious to how old your two beauties may be? They look extremely small so I’m just going to go ahead and assume they haven’t been fixed yet? As they don’t look old enough! ADORABLE little scruffballs though. If they haven’t been, you will need to separate them. Bunnies mature quickly and will mate even quicker. Until they’ve been spayed and neutered, separating is a must! (If they already are, then just ignore my little blab session ) As someone who almost made that mistake (breeder told me it was fine) I just wanted to look out and warn you before an Ooops litters ended up on your hands!

Which one is the girl??? My boyfriend will die when I show him the picture of the grey fluffball. He LOVESSS fluffy bunnies! Do you know what kind of breed they are? They remind me of Angoras! Which are what my boyfriend and I absolutely drool over!

Congrats on your two new little balls of energy!

Hello everyone! Sorry for my late reply… have been so busy with Bertie and Lilly… the gray fluffy one is the girl 🙂 she’s the more quiet one of them. Bertie has grown a looot and got neutered 2 weeks ago and is still as crazy LOL he’s throwing things around, pushing the little pellets out of his house so he has a very smooth flor, takes the hay box off the cage etc. LOL! every evening between 9 and 11 he has about 20 minutes where he goes mental and runs around like a total lunatic! LOL But I have a few questions… 1. because Lilly hasn’t got neutered I’m not sure if it’s okay to let my cousins guinea pig be in the same out door cage sometimes… could the guinea pig get her precnant? or is that not possible? 2. Because Bertie is lovely and white he gets dirty quickly on his paws even though I totally clean out their cage once a week and their wee corners even inbetween. Can I wash a bunny? And if yes, how? I mean any animal shampoo or do I dry their fur – with a towl, a hairdryer or just let it dry? 3. my bunnies are very picky with what they eat and what they don’t like. They go bananas for letuce, they like apple even though they only get little pieces every 3 days or so, they like cucumber and eat carrots, but they just won’t touch peppers. Any suggestions what they’d like? 4. what can I give them as a rare treat they’d abolutely love? Oh and about litter training… thanks for the ideas! They still sleep in their litter box LOL and use their food box as litter box LOL Sadly the food box is much smaller than the litter box so half of it is beside it *roll eyes* But at least Bertie tells me by starting to eat my jumper that he needs to go weewees LOL Well thanks guys in advance and I’ll keep you updated. Oh and Lilly is a teddy dwarf and Bertie is a mix between a teddy and a NHD. Cheers Honey
