        Hi,
My mini lop, dusky, has started sneezing but only when he is eating his hay. It seems worse after giving him fresh hay. He doesn’t have a runny nose or anything and is still running around as usual. He was checked over at the vets last week and was given a clean bill of health.

Could this just be from the dust? I’m going to try him on Timothy hay,2nd cut, today. He’s currently on meadow hay.

        Thanks for any help!

I think it could be the dust, if he’s only sneezing while eating hay. Let us know how the new hay goes.

Yeah, it was the end of the bag too, so probably was just the hay.

So I’ve given him the new hay, he totally loves it and hadn’t stopped eating! He hasn’t sneezed yet either which I’m taking as a good sign!

So he’s started sneezing again and is now making a strange noise when grooming…it’s like a snuffly grunting noise almost…sorry for all the questions I’m new to this so I’m probably being paranoid!
