so basically my rabbit lulu won’t chew on any woods i give them all of the woods are pet safe. Like those abc chews blocks. But she always eats hay. should i worry about her teeth over growing?!

Hay is more for their teeth than chew toys. But, my buns won’t chew on that stuff either. Try willow (bark on) toys, balls, cubes or sticks. Those seem to be bunny favorites.

Willow toys are more enjoyable for them because they taste good. Another option is getting some type of stationary wood hidey house (or even a 2×4 attached to the pen). Buns like to chew things that don’t move.

Could also try putting the wood in apple juice or something similar, then letting it dry.

Also, some buns just don’t chew. One of mine will chew almost anything while the other doesn’t chew anything at all.

If you really want to use a wood block, they have some fruit scented and even fruit flavoured ones that are shaped like carrots or apples or bananas. My bunny loves the scented ones he used to chew furniture but giving him those made him stop

I second Beka27 on a hidey house or wood block, just make sure it hasn’t been treated and is same for rabbits.
My rabbit won’t chew on anything that moves, so little toys and blocks don’t work for him. I use HEAVY chunks of untreated wood and he absolutely loves it!

I would try a different version of wood — such as Beka suggested. My buns are really picky also and prefer sticks they can toss around and chew on instead of wood. They are also very intrigued by the wooden stick hidey house I got them from PetSmart. It was only $9 and they chewed on that thing all day long. All three of them.

My young rabbit wouldn’t chew on his apple orchard sticks until I hung them up. He acted like they were amazing and chewed non stop then
