I would like to have fresh herbs growing in pots on the floor in the bunny room. However as you know a pot of herbs kan disappear in few seconds The rabbits are outside in our garden when the temperatures are fine, and here they only snack on sage and rosemary. However the taste seem to be different inside…inside, rosemary and sage are gone in 10 minutes.

So can you think of herbs that rabbits like, not love, to snack on?

hmmm…..that’s difficult. My buns either love or hate herbs. Although, mint took them a while to love as much as they do now. At first they weren’t so sure, probably because it’s so strong.

My bun only likes dill and mint. She’ll eat it once ot twice and then want her parsley back.

Okay, so dill might be an option. Actually, come to think of it, I think I have given them dill before and they didn’t eat it. Great, I will try this.

I have a pot of maroccan mint that I have yet to try. Hopefully, it is strong. I tried with lemon balm today thinking it would be like mint, but that was gone quickly as well.

I just want them to have the scent of fresh herbs around them when they can’t come outside and that way enjoy a bit of nature. I have tried growing grass and goutweed as well in big pots, but it seems that I have found every gardeners solution to goutweed: rabbits!

I dont think Foo really liked basil either when we tried that. She’s really picky though.
