               Hi! i recently adopted a rabbit. I am in the process of bonding my two rabbits and its going great! i decided it was time to buy a new bigger cage for them too live in ( with the three hours out of the cage of course!) and I Was looking at ebay and I found a great cage and its 48″ x 32″ x 22″ and I just wanted too make sure that was large enough. thank you!!!

          Have you considered buying a puppy exercise pen instead? It’s a great option that many people here use…roomy, easy to clean, and easy to modify.

            That cage isn’t big enough for two rabbits. An xpen is 4×4 feet square and that’s the minimum size they should be in. Each bun needs 2×4 feet of floor space minimum.

              I agree with the other posters about x-pens. I found both of mine for around $35 each (one for each bun before I bonded them) and think they are wonderful. Both of my bunnies seem incredibly happy in their x-pen compared to the tiny cages they lived in before I adopted them. They are MUCH easier to clean and give the rabbits a lot of space to stretch out and play around.
