How can I bunny  proof my room?

For the wires can I just pin them up off the floor and my bunnies reach?

what other things can I bunny proof, and how?

You can pin them off of the floor or you could buy plastic tubing to cover your wires. You may also wish to block your baseboards as they will chew on them.

Cables and cords are the big thing, but watch out for really fluffy/shaggy rugs that might be pulled at and damaged (not the carpet but really fluffy throw rugs can be a disaster magnet). Make sure that the area where your bun is playing is clean and doesn’t have anything that could be dangerous if ingested. If you have a bedspread that hangs off of your bed or a bed skirt you might want to pin that up and out of reach. If you don’t want your bunny under the bed then you might want to block it off in some way. When I bunny (or baby/puppy/kitten) proof I always get down on the rabbits level and look at everything that a bunny would want to chew on/eat/destroy, then fix it up as needed.

Another thing to consider with bunny proofing, that I didn’t even think of at first, is if the paint on your walls has any texture on it. Our boys were eating the texture bits right off the walls! >_< My solution to that was getting big cardboard boxes, flattening them and then nailing them to the walls. I used just small finishing nails that way the holes weren't big, and I only put one nail every 2 feet. They chew on the cardboard but have never pulled it off.

As far as the chords, we have ours up out of bunny reach, our boys are free roam, and that works plenty fine. Or do as Snowytoshi said and get the chord protectors, they work awesome!

And if you do use anything to put the chords up out of reach don’t use any kind of tape. That’s a bunny magnet that screams chew me!
