How much is the estimate price to get my baby girl Daisy fixed?

At least a 100 dollars. It will save you medical bills in the future though

It depends on your area. Spaying a female rabbit is more expensive than neutering a boy bunny. I paid $135.

It really does depend on your area. I paid around $390 for my girls spay. You need to make sure you’re taking her to a rabbit-savvy vet that is experienced in rabbit neuters and spays. If you check out the House Rabbit Society page, they have a list of questions you can ask vets about their experience to make sure you’re getting an experienced one. If you have a Humane Society in your area, you can also inquire about who does their neuters and spays. Sometimes going through the Humane Society is also quite cheaper. At least it is in our city.

Definitely depends on where you live. I paid $125-ish, but I have heard others say they paid a few hundred.

I am so jealous of all of you guys! ONLY A HUNDRED AND SOMETHING! Ugh, I paid $250 just to have my boy neutered!

Oh and in case you’re wondering, Wooly was neutered but I was charged the spaying price because they had to go fishing for his missing boy bit. =p

Most places I know are around 250 USD. I’d recommend avoiding those discount spay and neuter places. I had one of my rabbits spayed at a discount place. When I picked her up she looked like she was in incredible pain. The pain meds they sent home tasted like burnt plastic, and were INTENSELY strong. I felt so bad. She looked like she was in utter hell for days.

When I had my next rabbit fixed, I used a vet. It was a much better experience. Night and day difference. I’d seriously recommend going somewhere decent.

Does Daisy have a vet that she sees? I encourage you to look for a good vet that is familiar with rabbits – you can find a list here: http://rabbit.org/vets/vets.html

Well the vet I take my dog to, they had a algerie to bunnies, but I found this other vet and they do bunnies! Yay! And she has not been to the vet yet, she is about 5-9 months old, and after today, I think in 2013 sometime we are going to bring her to the vet for a check up
