Hey guys and I am getting my bunnies soon and need some help! they have a 11.5×11.5 room all to themselves for 3 hrs a day that i can spend with them and the rest they are in a large 39×50 inch 2 story hutch attached to a 3×3 2 tall NIC condo… heres the hutch if you want to see:

        http://www.petco.com/product/116897/Trixie-Natura-XL-Two-Story-Rabbit-Hutch-with-Outdoor-Run.aspx

So my question is what i should do instead of that ramp. the bottom floor is 18 inches high and the ramp opening is 16×6 the interior along that wall is 38 inches. I am afraid to use the ramp because first off, its very cramped, and the asphalt material on it and the glue is coming off in globs…. they are choking size and are pebbles and glue so i really dont think that the ramp is safe

Any ideas about steps up or a different type of ramp i could use? also, the door on the bottom on the ramp side is where the NIC is attached so that need to be able for them to jump through (it swings outward and is clipped to the side of the NIC)

THANKS SO MUCH EVERYONE! please feel free to post a series of links to what you think! thanks so much guys!

That’s a cool habitat. I think if you browsed around several websites that have habitat designs for sale, like Leith Petworks, or The Busy Bunny and look for ramps that are sold as separate attachments you may find one that works for you here. I still like a ramp. Possibly other posts here have described home-made ramps you can create yourself. Like an untreated pine thin piece cut to size, and covered with the corrugated cardboard run that goes with a Cottontail Cottage?
Check out the photo section for other ramp ideas.

hey sorry to bother you but could you give a link to the item you think? i cant find dimensions on any of the ramps. i dont know a ton of resources could you give me a few? i love binkybunny im looking for a good traction ramp that is about 6 inches wide by about 34-36 inches long BUT it could be less like 6×20-30 and i could put the base on top of a hidehouse or box that they can jump on :]

Here is a 32in. long ramp. But they don’t say how wide it is. :/ I am wondering if their is a way to contact the company and ask for exact measurements.

That hutch is gorgeous! Are you planning on keeping your buns indoors or outside?

We needed a ramp for our buns condo so we just took a piece of untreated plywood from Home Depot and covered it with indoor/outdoor carpeting for traction for the buns feet and to cover up anything that could cause a sliver. All together it was really cheap, only a couple of dollars really depending on how big you need to make it.
