My rabbit was neutered yesterday afternoon (dec. 19th) and i am wondering if it is safe to take my rabbit out of his cage to cuddle with him etc.?(other than to adminster his medicine).

I think gentle cuddling would be okay. You just don’t want him zooming around and hopping on/off things like furniture. Also, make sure you check his incision area every day for redness or swelling.

And when you mean cuddle, so you mean pick him up? Best to not do that unless you have to check on his tummy — just be careful.

Op! I just saw this was from a day or so ago. How is your bunny doing now?

If you let him out on the floor for a little bit for some cuddling, it won’t hurt as long as he’s not jumping around and being too active. Besides, a bit of cuddling makes us all feel a little better . How’s he doing today?

Sorry for not responding quickly,i haven’t really been reading the forums this week.
His neuter recovery is doing great (i think ????). The wound looks great (the same ??? ). I assume thats good?

His appetite has been great so alls good with him eating. But he is still having trouble with URI/Pneumonia.

I hope this new vet can figure it out,he is the same one who performed the neuter.

Glad he is recovering well from the neuter. Hope the vet can help him out with his other problems. (((((Get Well Quick))))))
